"Restaurant City" -- the famous game in Facebook

My personal tips on Restaurant City by yzene

Facebookers became obsessed by Playfish game such as Restaurant City, Who has the biggest Brain, Pet Society, GEO challenge, and Word Challenge.
I am one of them.
I was appealed by the graphic, cute character and of course the content of Restaurant City.
Most importantly, you don't need to be available in front of the computer to ensure your virtual workers work.
As long as you keep them full or close the restaurant for days, your points, popluarity will remain.

When you are in Level 1, you got only 3 chairs and 3 workers and few ingredients.
You can design the layout of restaurant, arrange the position of the furnitures as you like with the end in mind that you want to gain more popularity (more customer coming in, cash flow grow faster) and customers won't complain anything like " wait too long, toilet bowl overflow, no chairs etc" All the complaints were all shown & each complaint will affect the popularity

I got to Level 21 now, my restaurant become larger. The maximum of popularity is 50.
If all the seats are full, the customers will wait at the waiting chair.
My design to surround the waiter with tables is to ensure waiters could serve/clean the dishes faster with only 4 walking boxes.


This is your worker status.
% indicating the speed/efficiency of each worker to deliver the job. You can assign them for any job like cleaner (only available at leverl 8 above), Cook and Waiter.
If you choose rest, the worker wil gain back the % slowly until they reach 100%.
If you need them immediately to serve customers, just spend some coins by getting them foods. They will serve customers happily



This is your menu. You will collect the ingredients by
1) Trading with friends
2) Get a new ingredient on the 1st time you visit friend's restaurant
3) Answer the daily food quiz correctly (Answers are available in Playfish forum)

Let's target 1 dish for each category, so that you can get maximum of needed ingredients for level up. 1 level up could increase 0.2 Gournment points. I get level 5 for exotic fruity dish. Hence, eveytime the customer finished the dishes, the restaurant gains 1.8 points.


This is the outlook of my restaurant

I have 34 friends are playing this game. Surprisingly, the growth is exponential.

Among my friends, this is the most impressive restaurant called "Little Mushroom" as the decorations are deemed expensive which need a lot coins like 10,000 and above. Yet, she "bought" all and displaying in front of door.

Inside of the "Little Mushroom" restaurant which i find neat and realistic.
